NC Work From Anywhere helps North Carolina residents build the skills needed to pursue remote and hybrid work opportunities while staying connected to the communities they call home.
Through a partnership with NC State Extension, Brightspeed Fiber Internet is supporting scholarships for eligible residents in Brightspeed-enabled counties across North Carolina. This support is designed to make the program more accessible for individuals who are ready to strengthen their digital skills, explore new career paths, and prepare for today’s flexible workforce.
The program combines online coursework with interactive virtual workshops and focuses on the practical skills needed to succeed in a remote work environment, including digital communication, productivity, teamwork, critical thinking, and remote job development.

N.C. Cooperative Extension is an affiliate of the Utah State University Extension Remote Work Program. Through N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Community and Economic Development programs, we assist in facilitating the Master Remote Work Professional Certificate. This specialized one-month training combines online coursework with interactive virtual workshops. Registration is nonrefundable but transferable.
