Access to digital health platforms is becoming increasingly important, especially for individuals who may be less familiar with navigating online systems. One recent participant in the NC Digital Futures Program shared their experience after attending a session on how to use MyChart, a secure online health portal that connects patients to their medical records, appointments, and test results.
“I learned how to access MyChart today. The lady who did the presentation was excellent. I did not realize there was so much info in the chart or so many things that could be done.”
This session, led by a Digital Skills Educator, helped attendees gain confidence in using online health tools to manage their care. By breaking down barriers to digital access, the NC Digital Futures Program is equipping individuals with essential skills that improve quality of life, independence, and access to healthcare.
